Hello

Hello. I was wondering if I could have a copy of the deleted article "Set It Off (band)". I would greatly appreciate it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rockr109 (talkcontribs) 17:27, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs

Information.svg Hello Brookie! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 39,985 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

DIANA Princess of Wales - stemming the tide of stomach-churning duplication and indulgence

Dear Brookie, Bonjour and hello to you! Hope you are well. My terminally-ill Mum passed away aged 89 in December 2009, at peace, in her own home. I am still guiding in the City of London.

I have been taking a large red pencil to the slew of indulgent Diana writing. please could you take a look at the following articles:

I found that these all duplicated each other and have started a process of refining and merging. Essentially, I cleaned up the chronology of events (marriage break-up - "problems and separation") in the main Princess of Wales article, plus assorted work on the courtship section and others. I then imported material from that article to the Death, Funeral, and Conspiracy Theories articles. It is a huge process, which is not complete. I still hope to look at the other 3 articles closely, do a bit of merging and cross-referencing, etc.

My main aims are:

1. to get rid of duplication AND 2. to reduce the self-indulgent Dianotic tone AND 3. to make sure that the Diana Princess of Wales article focuses on her life as there are at least 3 articles dealing with her death and aftermath in various forms.

In connection with Aim no. (3), there are still several sections about Memorabilia , tributes, etc. which I think could possibly be merged with the Funeral article. Perhaps that should be re-titled?

I am asking you to keep an eagle-like watch on these to make sure they are not vandalised, etc.

I'd be interested to know, on my talk page, what your opinion is of my work in this field. Hopefully the articles look better. Thanks for reviewing and protecting them.

All the best to ye! FClef (talk) 01:17, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Problem with India-specific Theologians

Hi,

In recent times, I have been facing problems with a particular user who is not at all interested in India-specific Theologians. The user keeps adding proposed for deletion tags. Recently, he has compiled a voluminous list of India-specific Theologians whom he proposes to delete [1].

The user seems to be following three simple steps:

1. Add the tag for deletion and propose it for deletion within a specific period 2. Wait and watch 3. Delete completely

This user, rather I would add, is on a deletion-spree. Kindly check on the user. He succeeded in deleting Scott L. Harris [[2]].

A request regarding the University of Calcutta article

Since you have edited the University of Calcutta article in the past, could you address the issue of why one of the editors is constantly reverting to the ad tag, repeatedly, without bothering to edit the article. See Talk:University of Calcutta for details.
