Disambiguation pages are not articles – they are navigation aids!

Users arrive at these pages looking for a specific article. Therefore, when it comes to editing these pages:

DO:
Be familiar with WP:DAB and MoS:DAB.
Put the link at the start of each entry, if possible.
Keep descriptions short.
Organize the page to simplify navigation.
Use fragments, not complete sentences, in entries.
Link to a primary topic, if there is one, at the top.
Link to Wiktionary using {{wiktionary}} when appropriate.
Fix incoming links to point to the right target article.
Consider joining WikiProject Disambiguation.

DON’T:
Don’t add dictionary definitions.
Don’t add entries without a link.
Don’t put more than one blue link in an entry.
Don’t add references or external links.
Don’t add red links that wouldn’t make good articles.
Don’t add every article that contains the title.
Don’t pipe entry links, unless required for formatting.
Don’t use vague subject areas for organization.
Don’t end entries in punctuation of any kind.
